HOOTS - To Cicero and Market We Go! (10/4/2008)

A beautiful fall day saw 5 tandems, a single and triple (our first!) join Linda and Jay Hardcastle for 42 miles to Cicero, Arcadia and Wilson's Farm Market. Temps were in the low 60's under sunny skies with a light north wind as we left Cool Creek Park, heading through Westfield on the way to the Cicero DQ . With the late start, a few riders had a first lunch at the DQ. We then headed out on a new route north of Cicero, through the small towns of Millersburg and Arcadia, before stopping at the popular Wilson's Farm Market. After another round of sweet treats (the pumpkin fudge was very popular), we were on are way home with a well deserved tail wind. A few teams enjoyed a social lunch at the Paradise Cafe in Clay Terrace before we called it day. (Picture up later this weekend.) JSH
