Hoots Fall Finale Ride Report

9 Tandems and 1 single rode our Hoots Fall Finale on October 18. After the chilly preceding week, everyone was surprised and pleased with temps only 10 degrees below normal. But at least we didn't have head winds. We also had Michael and Kerry Hastings along, on their FIRST tandem ride. For a change of pace, we left Cool Creek and rode straight to Wilson's Market, a routing decision enjoyed by everyone. We then east and north to Crooked Creek, before riding to Cicero and skipping the DQ (!) so we could get to lunch at Paradise Cafe in Clay Terrace. It was a great ending to another season of HOOTS rides. Now on to planning the Hoots Winter Social and MTR 2010
