In Memoriam, HOOTS member Greg Mongold of Bloomington, IN

I don’t have access to all the details, but apparently Greg suffered a heart attack near the end of a tandem ride with his wife Linda, on Thursday, June 25th. More information may be available at the Bloomington Bicycle Club web site.

Greg and Linda attended one of our Carmel start HOOTS rides last year. Linda and Greg have posted pictures on their tandem adventures on the HOOTS web site. Greg also participated in a number of internet bicycle forums. In a relatively short time in tandeming, Greg and Linda made a lot of friends, and Greg will be missed.

A viewing will be at St. Mark's United Methodist (in Bloomington) on Wednesday at 4:30 pm. The service will follow at 5:30. St. Mark's address is:
